March 17

This is Kevin writing. Today we went to Masaya to go to the market and saw a lagoon. The market was basically a giant flea market where could bargain for a desired price. Anything you could think of was there and we all bought things for ourselves, our families and our friends. Walking around the market with the group and the Nicaraguans was really entertaining because there were many different handmade goods that caught our eyes. After two hours at the market, we got back on our bus to a lagoon called La Catarina. It was definitely the windiest place in Nicaragua (!) but was the most beautiful we have seen so far. While we were talking to the Nicaraguans today, we didn´t ask each other many questions about each other because already it seems like we are close friends and it feels like we are one big family. We always have a great time together and today we just talked about anything. We all agreed that today was definitely one of the best days here and was by no doubt, the most serene day. It will be depressing because even though things here are different, it has become our home and it will bring tears to our eyes when we leave our families here behind.
